We’ll cover the why of babywearing, how it benefits you and baby, as well as the basics of positioning, carrier types, fit, comfort, and common troubleshooting while giving you the chance to try a variety of carriers and wraps in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. This class focuses on building confidence through hands-on, effective remedies for issues like poison ivy rashes, bug bites and stings, minor wounds and infections, burns, dehydration, and more. Students will learn how to match herbal actions—such as astringent, antimicrobial, and soothing properties—to specific conditions, using both internal and topical preparations like teas, poultices, baths, and compresses. Emphasizing safety, observation, and preparedness, this class offers a grounded foundation for caring for yourself and your family with simple, time-tested herbal support.
